God is so good to us!

I just love when God gives us those little confirmations that we are on the right track...

If you read my last post, you know I was praying about moving forward and doing our adoption paperwork in faith that our little girl's file will be done.  We went on a date Tuesday night and so we finally had the chance to talk without children around and distracting us.  I laid out what God had been speaking to me.    Troy agreed and we made the decision to GO FOR IT!  This morning, I had JUST emailed our social worker (literally!) and clicked over to my google reader to read the blogs I follow.  This is the blog post I found waiting for me--- http://heartofthema tteronline. com/doe-the- nexte-thynge/

I especially loved the last 3 sentences... .  :-)

"Find the next thing to do, and then do it. The longer you spend agonizing over what to do, the more time you waste. Just do it!"

Joy and Laila (Kathy)
Aren't they just too cute for words?  And we only live 2 hours from Laila's family!

Ting Ting and Fiona
I love that these girls have each other right now, I love PHF!

Anyone else like mustard?

There is so much about this adoption that is not clear, but I am finally waking up to see God calling us to move forward in faith.  In the past couple weeks, I've felt it in small ways.  I've started collecting birth certificates and our marriage license and I've started work on an LOI and our financial documents....  but all this is playing it safe.  It isn't anything difficult or really "important" in the big sense to an adoption.  I mean they are, but they are only small checks offs on the BIG list of to do's.  They don't require much out of us in terms of commitment--time, financial, emotional, and social (yes, social, as in actually telling people that this is GOING to happen).

"Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and do not doubt in your heart but believe that what you say will happen, it will be done for you.  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.  Mark 11:23-24

That was what I read this morning in my quiet time---Believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.--Have I been believing that we have already received it?   No.  I was playing with the notion and thinking about it and toying with it, but I have not been acting like I truly believed and received it.

We live by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7

Go and See was another message from God this week.  My sweet friend Nicole (Ava's Mama!) really said it well "You believe God FIRST and step out in faith and then God keeps his word."

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
Matthew 17:20

New pictures from a group that is at PHF right now!

What a blessing these pictures are--so see her so happy and beautiful!
And that amazing head of hair, don't you just want to run your fingers through it!

Oh Ting Ting, my  sweetheart, we are praying night and day for it to be God's will for you to be our daughter.  Our heart aches for you, we long to be your mama and baba....
We love you!

Thank you, Steve and Carrie!

Faith

Shaoey's TingTing fund

Shaoey is just sweet beyond words....  She has prayed for TingTing day and night for months.  She talks about her all the time--where she's going to sit, where she's going to sleep, that she's going to share her baba with TingTing, that her baba's going to buy matching clothes for the 3 of them, she'll share her toys.  She is very sad that TingTing is in China without a mama and a baba...  This weekend she took it one step further by setting up her own adoption fund for TingTing!!  Whenever she sees us with change, she asks for it to help bring sister home.   My heart sings with how amazingly sweet Shaoey is.  She's only 4 and has such a heart for God and for others.  This is Shaoey's TingTing adoption fund so far.  And she's only been collecting for a few days!

Our little artist!

wonderful mom traveled to SFCV this summer to do a mission trip.  She taught art there for a week.  I was recently hooked up with her and was able to buy some artwork that TingTing did this summer!  Here's some pictures of her and of her artwork!  How AWESOME is this????!!!

TingTing is right in front of the teacher.

Look at her adorable artwork!  She is quite the artist!

Her hair is so soft and silky looking.
(You're looking at the back of her head.)
I just want to stroke her head and kiss it and tell her how loved she is!
I want to hold her and just inhale her sweet scent...

Check out those girly tootsies!
Thank you, God, that there are wonderful people who are answering your call to care for the orphans.  How touching is this that our girl has a chance to get her toe nails painted...

Looks like she likes water!  That's a good thing since we have a pool in our backyard!  LOL

Ting Ting is being held by Dawn's daughter Mary Morgan behind her.
Dawn, thank you SO much!

I can't believe how blessed with pictures we are!

I found these on one of the yahoo groups I'm on.  My heart just bursts with each smile I see. It brings tears to my eyes as I think about the days, weeks, months, years that she has gone without a family and how badly I want to be her mama and wrap my arms around her and breathe her in and kiss her sweet fair head...

Look at this trio!  BFF!

I would LOVE all your prayers that it would be God's will for Ting Ting to join our family.  There is so much that has to be orchestrated for this to happen and it is only through God!

God bless!

This is too cute!

LOVE IT!
Ting Ting is #4 (yellow shirt and demin skirt).  Shaoey was tickled that they were walking in a train!  How I would love to be able to keep her in touch with her friends--Ava/Holly and Laila/Kathy.  It is pretty cool that Laila's family only lives about and hour and a half to two hours from us!

More pics!

A fellow PHF family recently traveled there to meet their daughter MengYan.  They were so kind to bring a package to TingTing for us.  They also took numerous pictures for us!  What a blessing!  These mean so much to a waiting parent, they are a lifeline...Thank you Ann!   Here are some of them!   The first 2 are of TingTing wearing the outfits we sent her!  All 3 girls wear the same size.  There's 6 months from TingTing to Shaoey and another 14 months to Grace, so 3 girlies within 20 months!

Oh that smile!   What a joyful girl!
